Pete Schwarz

Pete Schwarz is the Vice President of Affiliate Relations and National Programs at the Autism Society of America. Pete served for 3 1/2 years on the Board of Directors for the Autism Society of America, where he chaired the Affiliate Leadership Committee, prior to taking his staff role in 2020. Pete previously worked as a senior project manager and engineer at an international engineering firm where he managed a branch office and multi-million dollar environmental remediation projects. Pete’s prior experience includes serving as board chair of the Autism Society of Southern Arizona, board chair of the Tucson Alliance for Autism, and Vice President of the Tucson Council of the Arizona Autism Coalition. Pete is from Tucson, where he enjoys hiking, kayaking, skiing, and spending time with his son, Tyler (a young man with autism), his daughter, Alyssa, and his fiancee, Katie, and her sons Jack, Finn, and Bobby.
